I photographed this beautiful Cheetah as it was running full speed, and was fortunate to get this image. I added digital textures to achieve the artistic enhancement of the finished work.
The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is the fastest land mammal, reaching speeds of 112 km/h (70 mph) in short bursts, but the average speed of cheetahs is about 64 km/h (40 mph).
