Description

This original wildlife art features a lioness walking through a field in the golden light of the sun. I start with my original photograph and blend with textures and painted backgrounds to create this digital painted canvas artwork.

I captured the original photo of this beautiful lioness at the Columbus Zoo. She was walking with another female, and gave me the opportunity to snap the shot when she turned and looked right at me. I isolated her from the other cat, and created this digital painting to show what she would look like in the environment of a hot summer day, on the prowl in the wild.
