Description
Two Nautilus Shells cut in half, laying side by side, showing fibonacci patterns in the inner chambers. I was drawn to the natural symmetry and beauty of these shells, which once held living sea creatures. I desaturated the color in this image and added a soft pearl texture to let the eye take in the natural beauty of light and shadows within the shells. A perfect image for your home, office, or cottage!
The ancient chambered nautilus shell is a potent symbol for growth. As the animal grows, it builds larger and larger chambers for itself to live in. It seals off the smaller ones, which are then filled with gasses that allow it to stay buoyant as it moves through the ocean waters.
