An inside look of the piano strings from a lovely antique Rosewood Chickering Piano, which was a wedding gift to Arnold and Phebe Denman Medbery of early Roscoe (Ohio) in 1836. It was shipped on the Erie Canal from New York to Cleveland, Ohio. The piano then came to Roscoe from Cleveland by way of the Ohio and Erie Canal. The lovely180 year old piano encasing these strings is now in the visitor's center at historical Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio. Images of this Rosewood Piano are also available for sale in my gallery.
I created this semi-abstract art from my photo image and added digital color, textures, and light manipulation to obtain this effect.
