Description
Also known as spider mum for its long, spidery petals, the Fuji mum (Dendranthema x grandiflorum, formerly Chrysanthemum x morifolium) puts on a colorful display in late summer and autumn. I photographed this bloom against a black background, and converted it to a monochrome, black and white image, to accent the beautiful lines and detail.
