Description
This mother mallard duck is giving her ducklings a swimming lesson in a shallow pool along the edge of a creek. She is very patient as they practice their bobbing techniques. The morning sun is casting beautiful light and shadows and reflecting the nearby trees, giving the water a blue green cast. She seemed to be posing for this picture, and it reminded me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Perhaps it will remind you of the patience of your mother, or a favorite memory in your past, and bring a smile. Photo taken in central Ohio.
