Description
This covered bridge was built by J.W.Buchanan in 1905, and originally crossed Sycamore Creek on Busey Road two miles south of Pickerington, Ohio. After it was closed in 1984, it was moved to the Sycamore Park in 1986. It was originally named Zeller-Smith Covered Bridge, but now is known as the Sycamore Park Covered Bridge. It still covers a creek, but there is no road now; just lots of foot traffic in the park! I like this point of view as it shows one of the last trees holding beautiful orange autumn leaves into the month of December. Copyright: Photo by Sharon McConnell, Stardust Imaging.
