Description
Looking out through the window of an old building gives you a glimpse into another world, long ago. I captured this image looking out the window of the Old Plantation Ice House located on Botany Bay, Edisto Island, South Carolina.
The Bleak Hall Plantation was originally developed by Daniel Townsend, III in 1798, and the main house was built in 1805, though it burned during the Civil War. The color version of this image is also available in my gallery.
