A brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) comes in for a water landing, bathed in evening light, giving his wings a beautiful golden glow. This pelican was one of many I watched fly in and out of the Shem Creek Harbor in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. I start with a photo image, and enhance it with digital textures to present this fine art nature photo painting. I hope you enjoy it!
