Photo of The Angel Oak Tree located on John's Island, near Charleston, South Carolina. This is a favorite stop when we are visiting family in the area. The tree is so big, you can't do it justice with a single image. It is quite inspiring just to stand beneath it and to be surrounded by its size, age, grandeur, and endurance.

Sharon McConnell; From central Ohio, USA, I am a fine art and nature photographer, capturing moments in time and beautiful places, merging them together into the imagery of my art. Perhaps it stirs a memory of a loved one, or a special day, or maybe it just makes you feel happy! Life is fragile, and nature reminds us to enjoy each...
